Thank you, your calls and emails made the difference and Senate Bill 287 was unanimously approved by the Ohio House of Representatives last Thursday.

BUT ACTION IS STILL NEEDED

SB 287, which unbundles wheel chairs from the Medicaid per-diem in skilled nursing facilities and drastically improving access to mobility devices for residents with MS, now moves to the Ohio Senate for concurrence. We need the Governor and the Senate Leadership to know that this legislation matters to you!

Please call Governor Kasich and the Senate leadership today and tell them SB 287 must pass NOW. They cannot delay in fixing the mistakes of 3.5 years ago any longer. People with disabilities are going without necessary mobility devices essential for their quality of life and cannot wait any longer.
